UPDATE: Today, 1/8/2019, The Cover Guy contacted me today. They took my issue to heart and showed kindness and truly helped me, they were very helpful and kind.

I have nothing negative to say about them, you, as a consumer, are safe to do business with them. Thank you Pissed Consumer, for what you do, I appreciate it.

This appears to be a fake review. If this consumer FULLY expected to get ripped off, why did they follow through.

Nothing was even mentioned about the integrity of the product, only that it was not delivered as promised. If you were that happy, would not you at least take the time to describe the quality of the product in some detail, I mean, look at the time that was spent saying, nothing.

24 April 2019 I received full refund few weeks ago. They first refunded the cover, but not the lifter.

I had to argue some more to get refunded for this. I never actualy received it.

Claire from TheCoverGuy asked me to update this comment. She's supposed to send me an email regarding this tonite.

I have ordered in summer 2018 a spa cover . Once the SPA was delivered, the fold was in the wrong direction. So instead of being 84 x 92 inches, it was 92 x 84 inches. So in one direction the cover is 8 inches too long, and on the other direction water is exposed to elements. They asked me pictures and measurements and countless of questions. They never sent any returning instructions. No RMA. N O T H I N G. Wait !!! It is not finished !!! I also ordered an hydraulic cover lifter that I have never received. Wait !!! It is not finished !!! Strapping to hold the cover are located at places that requires to drill holes in elctronic, control panels, or other equipment. After monts of wait, I received an e-mail tonite saying they cannot take the cover back since it was used it. What a dishonest business.

I have bought two cover's here . First was terrible fit and last just past warranty seems ripped. Second much better fit but doesn't line up at lift hangers and as result I now have terrible evaporation issue. Aide note both covers took approximately two weeks longer than quoted to me.

Hello, Wish you would have identified yourself so we can check your file to confirm you purchased from us. We have been in business over 30 years and are a real company with real employees!

We work with all customers to help solve their situation. If your cover was delivered with damages and you signed the waybill without noting this or refusing delivery then you would be responsible for filing a freight claim with the carrier as the product is now in your possession. As a side note about 99% of our customers are pleased with their purchase but few people take the time to write reviews. It's usually the 1% that write here.

I ordered a cover and received a email the next day stating there is charges for delivery when your website sais free delivery. I’m in timmins Ontario, i contacted your customer service and she told me we lived to fare away and the delivery company you now use charges. These bd reviews are very concerning as I just ordered a hot tub cover. I also noticed a foreign transaction fee that I never agreed to (red flag). I also see the Cover Guy only responds to positive comments posted here on this site.
